Flying to Val Thorens, Les Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville
With Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble airport all within a two hour drive/transfer to Val Thorens, many people choose to fly as it is often the best value and most convenient way to travel.

There are 4 main airports within easy travel distance to the Val Thorens valley:

We recommend flying to Geneva as this is the most convenient airport to get a transfer to Val Thorens from, and the vast majority of airlines offer frequent and cheap flights here.
There are a variety of routes drivers can take from Geneva to Val Thorens so even if during the school holidays when traffic is busier, Geneva to Moutiers is often a clear route.
Getting the Train From the Airport To the Val Thorens Valley
