What to Provide and How to Get Your Val Thorens Property Ready For Guests.
“What do we need to supply for our rental guests?” Is one of our most frequently asked questions from property owners in Val Thorens.

There is no definitive list and there will always be something you can buy, but here are our top tips.

Live in your property for a week or two and invite some friends so it is at maximum occupancy. This will help you quickly realise what is lacking.

Host at least two dinner parties and cook a few cuisines. If you are missing a piece of kitchenware write it down. You are never going to be able to rent to guests solely because you have a garlic press however people will return to well equipped properties.

Wifi is the most requested feature and people expect it. If you don’t have wifi you will miss bookings. This will be even more important for British guests when we leave the EU and we have to pay roaming charges again.

Most people have a Netflix/Amazon account so a Smart TV or Amazon Fire Stick will help people keep up with their favourite shows. Parents staying in your poetry will be really grateful as it can keep the kids entertained.

Having some cleaning equipment will encourage guests to look after your property. A hoover, dustpan and brush, dishcloths, tea towels, bin bags, surface spray and washing up liquid/dishwasher tables are what we recommend as a minimum. You can keep a supply and your cleaner can replenish for your guests. Having at least one roll of toilet paper per toilet is also important.

Providing linen and towels is also important, click here for more information.

Some owners provide some extras like toiletries, champagne, tea coffee etc, these are really nice touches which will help generate more repeat business for your property.
